The 7th edition of the Parapsychology Research and Education course, also known as the ParaMOOC series, will focus on Poltergeists and Hauntings for 2021. This free, open online course was founded by Carlos S. Alvarado, Ph.D. and Nancy L. Zingrone, Ph.D. of the Alvarado Zingrone Institute of Research and Education, a virtual project of Alvarado, Zingrone & Associates. Parapsychology Foundation has supported the course since 2016 as well. From 2015 through 2018, the course was a general look at the academic and scientific research focused on, or related to, the understanding of psychic phenomena. In 2018, the ParaMOOC changed slightly to a smaller course with online meetings on Saturdays and Sundays, with presentations organized around a specific topic. In 2019, the ParaMOOC focused on mediumship research. In 2020, the ParaMOOC focused on psychology and parapsychology, and this year, 2021, the ParaMOOC will focus on poltergeists and hauntings.
