What makes these courses unique?

Other courses describe dreamworking techniques which you must remember or keep referring back to until you 'learn' it. These courses provide easy-to-follow, 'fill-in-the-blanks' templates for each technique with all directions right there on the form. There's nothing to remember and you can start your dreamworking immediately.

This is why I require that you start with Level 1, even if you're experienced at working with your dreams or have been journaling for some time. Each course builds on the techniques and methods learned in the previous.

 

 About the Course Creator  

 Bobbie Ann Pimm has been working with her dreams for over 25+ years. 

  • In 2001 she started her own website, Notes From a Dreamer … on Dreaming to share what she had learned about dreams and dream interpretation.
  • In 2008 she met Dr. Robert Van de Castle, author of Our Dreaming Mind, and lived and worked closely with him until his death in 2014. 
  • In 2010 she published her book, Notes From a Dreamer … on Dreaming: A Personal Journey in Dream Interpretation based on her 20+ years of teaching herself how to interpret her own dreams and encourages others to do the same. It was well received in the dream community of the International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD). See excerpts and reviews here.
  • In 2011 she co-created and taught an online course on Becoming a Teacher of Dreamwork and Dream Interpretation with Dr. Van de Castle for Atlantic University (AU) in Virginia Beach. Most of the material she designed for AU are the same used in these courses.
  • In 2011 she became a Consultant for DreamsCloud.com (now defunct).
  • In 2014 she was elected to the Board of Directors of the IASD (asdreams.org) for a 3 year term.

Decoding Your Dreams -- Level 1 Dreamworking

While dreaming, we are attuned to every aspect of our being: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.  Our dreams can warn us about and diagnose physical ailments, advise us of important aspects in our relationships and careers, point out our strengths and weaknesses, and guide us along on our spiritual paths.

Are you getting the most from your dreams?  Do you understand the messages they send each night?  Are you taking action on these messages?  By journaling and working with your dreams and dream symbols, you can learn to interpret your dreams and get the most from them.

If your dreams provide the directions, then your dream journal is your map – starting with where you’ve already been and pointing you to where you are going and your highest potential. The only expert you need consult to understand your dreams is you. 

This course is designed to be self-directed, without a mentor. This allows you to work at your own pace. You will get the most from the course by reading and following the lessons, watching the videos and using the templates, in the order provided. It is recommended that you spend one week on each module before moving on to the next, but you may spend more or less time on each, as desired. The materials are self-explanatory and include instructions, where needed. In case there are questions or concerns, you may leave a question or comment in the Support Forum and I will do my best to respond within 24 hours.

This is an intermediate course which delves deeper into personal dream interpretation methods. Even if you are an experienced dream journaler, you must complete Level 1 before you can take Level 2 because Level 1 contains basic practices that are needed to get the most out of this course.

This course is designed to be self-directed, without a mentor. This allows you to work at your own pace. You will get the most from the course by reading and following the lessons, watching the videos and using the templates, in the order provided. It is recommended that you spend one week on each module before moving on to the next, but you may spend more or less time on each as desired. The materials are self-explanatory and include instructions, where needed. In case there are questions or concerns, you may leave a question or comment in the Support Forum and I will do my best to respond within 24 hours.
